Who we are

Matafu Motion is a content and growth studio. Registered address: Faklya utca 1, 1131 Budapest, Hungary. The studio is based in Arusha, Tanzania, and part of the operation is run from Hungary. Because part of the business operates inside the European Union, European data protection law (the GDPR) applies to how we handle personal data. When we handle personal data inside Tanzania, we also follow the rules of Tanzania's data protection regulator, the Personal Data Protection Commission.

What we collect

Only what the work needs. This includes:

• Contact details from the enquiry form: name, company, job title, email, phone or WhatsApp, website or social profile, industry, objective, budget range and preferred start date
• Messages we exchange on WhatsApp, email or in meetings
• For clients: the people, places and operations we film and photograph, always with consent
• Campaign data from advertising platforms, used to report results

We never collect payment card details and we never handle client advertising funds.

Why we collect it

To answer an enquiry, prepare a proposal, deliver the work (plan, produce, manage and promote), report on campaigns, and meet legal and accounting obligations. We do not use personal data for anything else, and we do not sell it.

Who we share it with

Only with the services needed to do the work, and only once someone becomes a client:

• Meta, for advertising accounts and campaign data
• Google, for Workspace and analytics
• Zoom, for meetings
• Our camera and production team, for delivering the work

Each provider processes data under its own terms. We share the minimum the work requires.

How long we keep it

For as long as it is needed, then no longer:

• Enquiries: while they are relevant, and deleted on request
• Client work: for the length of the engagement, plus only what records require afterwards, for example accounting
• Footage and interviews: kept according to the client agreement; you can ask us to delete earlier
• Campaign data: stays inside the client's own advertising account

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to access, correct, delete, restrict or move your personal data, or to stop using it. If you are in the EU, you can also complain to your national data protection authority. In Tanzania, you can contact the Personal Data Protection Commission. Exercising these rights is free.
